Each piece is hand made so please allow up to 12 business days for us to ship your item. We normally get them out quicker though. If you have a rush order please let us know. We do keep some items in stock and we try to get your new goodie to you as quick as possible.
Can I add babies to my necklace?
You sure can! Well, we actually do a swap as the length of the wire changes depending on the amount of birds. Just email us to let us know you have a new addition to your family (Congrats!). Then ship your piece back to us with a note legibly saying what you would like done. Be sure to include your name, shipping address, telephone #, email, & $10 concealed cash, or a check made out to Figs & Ginger. Always ship with some sort of tracking as we aren't responsible for lost or stolen packages. We suggest USPS priority with Delivery Confirmation. Once we receive it, we'll exchange & ship it back to you at our normal turnaround time.
Oh Sadness! One of my earrings got away, can I buy a replacement?

Repairs:
Each Figs piece is checked at every stage to ensure it's in top notch condition. If something happens to slip by us, and it sometimes does, please email us right away to let us know what went wrong. If it's something on our end we'll fix & ship it back at no charge. We're happy to do repairs on pieces that have seen unfortunate obstacles in your daily life, and we can quote you when you email us with a description. If you find something wrong with your piece, DO NOT WEAR IT!!! If you do, and it breaks or gets lost, we can't do anything about it.
Custom Orders:
We're sorry! We just don't have the time to accommodate custom orders right now. Feel free to email us, as sometimes we can tweek things in your piece, but we generally have to say no. Sorry!
Jewelry Care:
As we've mentioned, Figs & Ginger pieces are made by hand. This means your piece should last for generations, but is a bit more delicate than something made by a machine.� Our jewelry is made of sterling silver, unless otherwise noted, and given a black patina. The patina is a great for all of us who don't enjoy the oxidizing of our sterling jewelry as there is no polishing required. In fact, if you do polish it, you will take the patina off. If you scratch, or continually bump a piece in the same area, and you notice the patina coming off feel free to send it back to be re-applied. To clean your patina'd pieces, just use warm water and mild soap. Here are some basic rules for any jewelry you care about, they are particularly important for handmade jewelry. Don't wear your jewelry while you sleep! Don't wear your handmade piece while running, doing jumping jacks, or any other type of jumping/bouncing activity. Your sweat, and the extra wear & tear are no good. Don't wear our jewelry while you swim, or clean, or when you put on lotions or sunscreen. Chemicals like that are real bad for your handmade piece. Just be mindful and you'll keep your Figs & Ginger piece looking super cute for a super long time!

Do you have a Return Policy?
We do not accept returns on items damaged by regular wear & tears of life, but we can do repairs-see 'repairs' above. If you're piece arrived damaged you need to notify us within 7 days of the receipt listed through your tracking number, and we will proceed from there. If you received something as a gift and would like to exchange it for something else, we will do that, or we will allow a store credit. We do not offer refunds as each piece is custom made. Oh my goodness do we ever! Running a responsible small business is top priority to us. We promise that we make as many 'green' decisions as we possibly can. We are always exploring and researching new ways of cutting down waste, we always recycle, and we try to reinvent most everything we can salvage. All of our literature is printed on 50%-100% post consumer recycled stock, we use local independently owned printers who use soy based inks, and hydro electricity. How do you make your jewelry?
We use traditional methods of silver & metal-smithing, each piece is either forged, sawed, or cast from sterling silver unless otherwise noted. The chains are not made by hand. Rhonda has a small studio space in the back yard where the jewelry making happens. We also have "The Wolf", our jewelry assembly & office space. It's a pink and teal trailer. Wasn't Elijah sick recently?
Yes he was. He was diagnosed with a unique to himself kidney disease. He was extremely ill and his body was slowly dieing. Luckily we have an amazing friend named Jason Rozen who donated his kidney to Elijah on June 6 2007. He saved Elijah's life and we love him for that. They both recovered superbly, being 21+22 yrs old helped that out a bit, and Elijah is slowly making his way back into a 'normal' life. What is your minimum order?
Our initial minimum order is 10 pieces. Once we have established business
with you future orders do not have to meet the minimum requirement.
How long does it generally take to receive our wholesale order? Well, that depends on how much you order. We generally ask for 1-2 weeks to make and ship your items. If you place a particularly large order it may take a bit longer. But we have arranged to ship half orders as they are completed so you will have something wonderful to sell quicker.
Do you consign? Nope. Sorry!
Do you "drop-ship"? No, Sorry!
Can I order a lot of one item? Most Sterling Goods we make to order so have unlimited quantities. Other items we do not mass produce. Sometimes we find a great fabric or paper and work with that, when its gone, sadly, its gone. This keeps us fresh, and in the long run, you fresh as well. You'll never get tired of the same old product. When we find a design we love we try to share it with as many people as possible, the pieces will vary slightly, but we promise they will all carry the same quality and uniqueness. If you would like a particular product we can work out an arrangement to buy a lot of one material ahead of time and you can custom order a line for your shop! This has great potential and keeps your customers feeling important and loved.
What are your wholesale prices? Once we receive your form, upon approval, you will need to set up a wholesale account on our site. Once you have your account you will be able to sign in and see all products listed at their discounted wholesale prices. We will email you upon receipt of your form submission and shop approval about the mysteries of our wholesale prices.
